Joel Osteen Preaches a Dangerous Message
To whom it may concern:
Joel O. Has no reason to call himself a
preacher. He was not called by God to preach God's word. In fact, Joel
O. has been on Larry King saying that there are many ways to God, and
he is not going to offend others that are part of another church. The
transcripts can be obtained from CNN...Joel told Larry King that "If this
preaching thing does not work out, then he has other ways to support
him and his family". This man claims that you can enter heaven in
various ways, and telling people about hell offends them. So he just tells
them how God loves you, and how much God wants to bless you....These are
of course true, but he is sending people straight to Hell, because he
does not want to offend people...I ask you, will people that die and go
to hell while serving under this man, be offended when they are burning
for eternity????????
You have to be lost, before you can be
saved...............John Ch. 3..Tells us that Jesus Himself tells a
man that you must be born again.....Without repentance, there is no
salvation....People that go to Joel's Church, don't need to repent,
because Joel tells them that they will all get to heaven because God loves
them....They don't have to change their lifestyles...They can still live
the way they want to live, and go to heaven in the end.....
We
needed an ultimate sacrifice for man's ultimate condemnation. We were
sinners, headed for Hell. God sent His only Son to die in our
place....He who knew no sin, became sin for us!!!
Jesus is the door into
heaven. Jesus is the only way to an eternity with God...John 14:6 reads
That Jesus is the way, the truth and the life (eternal). No man, woman
or child can get to God, but by Him....
On our own, we could
never please God.....On our own, we could never gain enough favor from
God, to enter into His kingdom...The very best that we can do, is but a
filthy rag, to an almighty and all Righteous God....
Those
that try to enter into heaven by any other way, is a thief and a
robber...And they will be cast out...
Joel's church, is not God's
church... When mankind realizes that they are indeed sinners, and they indeed are on
their way to hell...They know that without forgiveness, they will not
be forgiven...You are not forgiven until you ask our Savior to forgive
you for your sins. We must repent, and by faith believe that Jesus is
the Son of God, and that God so loved the world that he gave Christ to
us, for an atonement of our sins. It took a blood sacrifice that God
Himself had to provide...It had nothing to do with our love for God, but
it had everything to do with the Finished work of Christ on the
Cross.......There is NO OTHER NAME WHERE BY WE MUST BE SAVED........
God
does love His creation, and God still today is long-suffering towards
man. God does not wish that any should perish, but that All
should come to REPENTANCE....
People that say Joel O. is a good
man, and he helps out so many people....Oprah Winfrey helps out people
too, does that mean we should listen to her, on matters of
Salvation???? And God's Word is clear that there are NONE GOOD. We have all sinned
and come short of the glory of GOD.
I will never attend to
Joel's Church...Not because I think I am so spiritual, and I need more
meaty Bible Doctrine.....I don't go to Joel's Church, because it is not a
church. Those who are saved, ARE the church....And many people that go
to Joel's church, actually think that Joel is leading them in the right
direction. Joel O. needs to repent himself. Joel O. will have many
people's blood on his hands, at the Great White Throne of Judgment.....
Many will be at that judgment and cry out, Jesus. Many will profess to
have been saved, as well as, many will argue that they did it all in the
name of Jesus.......
And at this judgment, Jesus will say,
I never knew you. Get behind me ye, that work iniquity, and they will
have their part in the lake that burns with fire for
eternity........Jesus promised that many will come in His name, but they are nothing but
wolves in sheep's clothing. The day and age we are living in, people
have to hear about hell, if they ever want to go to heaven....It is
promised that in the end times, people will have a form of Godliness, but
they will deny the power there of...In the end times people will heap to
themselves teachers, having itching ears....They shall be turned away
from the TRUTH THAT IS CHRIST, and be turned unto fables........I can
see that you are one of those people...........I challenge anybody to
open their eyes, and ask themselves....Does Joel Preach God's Word? Or
does he preach a watered down version where he can pick and choose what he
will preach about. He was not called to Preach, He has said so
himself. He inherited the ministry from his dad, not A Heavenly
Father.
If you are saved then I ask you a simple question: If
you were lost and were blinded by the prince of this world, would you
rather go to a church that condones your lifestyle? Would you rather go
to a church that never rebukes people for their lifestyle? Would you go
to a church that preaches only bits of God's word, that justifies lost
peoples lifestyles? (The answer is of Course........If I was lost,
headed for hell, I would rather go to a church that says what I do is fine,
keep on doing what makes you happy...God loves you for who you are,
and you don't need to change one thing.?.)
The truth is however,
that God loved us enough to gives us a gift. God loved us enough to send
His only begotten Son, to die in our place....Our sins have been
forgiven, but each person must receive that gift...Or they never really got
it....Salvation is 100% free......For by God's grace are we saved,
through faith.....NOT OF WORKS, IT IS A GIFT OF GOD, Lest any MAN
should boast.
People go to Joel's church, because they don't want
to go to a true church, where the ENTIRE WORD OF GOD IS
PREACHED...Because that would mean they would have to hear that God is a God of love,
but God is Also a God Of Judgment....Judgment is coming.........As in
the passover for the nation of Israel, blood was applied to the door-post
so that the angel of death would passover the
household..............There is another judgment coming, but this time the blood that needs to
be applied is the Blood Of Christ....Have you been to Jesus for that
cleansing Power, are you washed int he Blood of the Lamb?....Or do you
think that God will let you into the marriage supper dressed in your own
robe???
Always study the word of GOD...Study to show thyself
approved unto God, Not Man.........We are to try those
spirits..........Since Joel was not called by God, that means He is not God's chosen
vessel...That means he is leading people without the power of God on
his side.........Many are called but few are chosen...Joel O. was not
chosen to tell people about Christ, and the suffering that He
endured.......He died for our sin.........But we must repent, become a New
creature............Having no friendship with this world, because that is
enmity with GOD........Be not of the world, go out among them, and be ye
separate....
