It is one thing to preach from the pulpit, and another to follow this advice. Before I got married to seek out your will, I fasted and prayed for the wisdom to marry the woman you wanted me too. All the way up to the wedding day I prayed this marriage not take place if it was going to take me away from serving you. That was over three years ago and today I am facing divorce, I grow bitter and confused. I know that there were things I could have done to treat my family better, but in my heart Divorce was never an option. My marriage is in ruins and even if there was to be something that would spare my marriage, God you would now have to soften my heart. I do not know the woman that I have been married to. I would never have someone in my life that has done what she has done recently. All the wise council preached to me daily that she is the weaker vessel and I must lead by example.(That is true, but at some point there should be accountability on both sides of the marriage). I don't hate God, but I do want to know what I am to learn by losing the ministry you called me to, or fall in love with the family that was given me only to be losing them now. I know God that I can stil serve you, but not to the extent that was laid on my heart. I have went from loving my wife, to having feelings of ungodly ideas to pay back the pain i now feel. The woman i thought you gave me has taken my family away from me, left my side when I needed her more now than I ever have, and most importantly she took away my best friend! That seems to hurt the worse. God forgive me for failing to be a good steward of the gifts you have given me. Help me to forgive others and allow me to serve you in any capacity. Help me to learn through this trial, so I never have to go through this again. (I have been betrayed and lied to and about and have a child that I begged you to keep her in a home that stayed together, or never let her be born. | Father, I guess by now you know my situation. I am believing and trusting that you are with me and things are going to go well in the operating room wed. | Father, I am praying a prayer to you tonight I am needing your guidence and strenghth. Father I have some medical issues going on in my body. It is urgent that I under go surgery. I know I will be down for about six weeks, I am worried about my job if my boss will let me go for being off all that time. I am worried about my bills how will they get paid. | REALLY BAD EVENTS FROM SATAN Right now I have demons that are trying to force me to re-write the Revelation and are trying to get me to go to hell any way they can think of basically. They have done things like steal from me too, which would take too much detail for me to explain. I am not perfect, but in no way do I deserve to believe that I'm going to hell or be in danger of it because of all the temptation (as it feels, even though I'm saved and I know I'm going to heaven. | Hi, My husband decided about 4 months ago he was not happy so he moved out. We were attending church regularly, 3 times a week for the past 11 years. He said he had only been going for me. He also made a profession of faith before we got married so I am thinking he may have done this for me too. He has been saying one day he wants to stay married and then the next he does not want to be, he has been having real bad emotional problems, his mom has been also interfering, degrading him, making him feel like he is not a man because he has not been successful in business like his brother has been. She always had a way of putting him down. She also wants my husband to move back in her house at 50 years old so she can cook for him even though she knows I love him unconditionally. So now my husband feels like he is worthless, he knows I love him, he loves me, he is not in love with me though. I do not think my husband is saved so I am asking for God to remove any and all obstacles that have gotten in the way of our marriage and anyone that has interfered. Yesterday my husband said he did not think he wanted to be married anymore. He knows God is not pleased but will just ask God to forgive him later. I am supposed to meet with him tomorrow, Wed. 9/3/08 to discuss our future. I have been asking for God to intervene and to change my husbands heart before then. | See below:(I was not going to let the person that this letter is about, to see it's contents...., but I want him to know that my family and I love him and his) A portion of a letter, which turns out to also be a prayer: I am writing on the behalf of a dear friend and his current step daughter. I have known (Name Deleted)) for approximately 2 years (Could be plus or minus a few months). I was a member of a church in Baytown, Tx. where I first met (names deleted). I am currently living in Lancaster, California where I will be starting Bible College in September. It was not hard to fall in love with this family because I saw a true desire in them to grow and serve God. I am sorry to say but I don't get to talk about my Savior very often with people even at my church, so we kicked it off instantly. I was not only glad to know them, but because of their faith and desire to serve God I myself was convicted to give more of myself to the ministry. If you go to church, then you probably know some "Christians" that have trouble making it to a service, and when they do show up they talk about fishing or politics, but frown on talking about God and our Savior. I also found out that (Deleted Name) and his family lived in Crystal Beach, and that is at least 45 minutes from Baytown. I myself at the time lived 5 minutes away from church, and seeing a family drive in a gas guzzler, all the way from Crystal Beach to learn about the Lord, well it made me convicted to say the least. Brother (So-n-So) and both our families have grown to rely on each other for support and prayer. There were families that I knew for 6 years at that church, but (Code name: Too Tall) and his family have left an impression on my family's heart, like we have known each other all of our lives. My wife is pregnant and we asked the (Deleted Name) and his family to be God Parents to our new child, just because I know if they accepted the offer, I could always count on having them be a part of my family. I know that (We will call him Antonio Bandana III), would be an excellent father to (Enter Christian young lady's name here), as if she were his own blood because he already plays that role. He is a hard worker, in spite of some health problems he was having last year and he never asks for sympathy. Every time I talk to Brother T_ _ _ ; no matter what his medical, political or daily issues of life are, he always says God is always good. I pray that his daughters and my daughters grow up together, or at the least stay in constant contact with each other well after we are gone. The older I get, the more I realize how important it is to have friends that love, without conditions. I love his family, and I pray that God's will is made known in their lives and they stay the course. (P.S.) | TJ is trying out for his school's baseball team a third time. Pray for his guidance and help removing all obstacles that have been standing in his way. Instructors/college coaches said he could get pitching scholarship and doing great at showcases, but only God can remove the many obstacles he faces in making the school team. He has to do travel baseball which is very expensive since he can't make his HS team. Pray as he works toward becoming an Christian athlete/academic student/role model and fulfilling his hopes/dreams of being used as God's instrument. In the last showcase, he outpitched his school's Varsity pitchers and he is 2-4 years younger than them. We are new to school that coach caters to homegrown boys and friends. TJ is not allowed to attend many showcases because he is not on HS team, but has been invited to some due to exceptional talent. (Side Note: And I love this family by the way, and we are going to miss them). I am concerned that so many people now days are seeking a church that caters to their flesh. What I mean is there are "Mega Churches" opening up everywhere, and all too many small Churches are closing their doors for lack of members. Heaven is popular, but hell is not. Tell me how good I am, so I feel no conviction. I can go to Joel's church lost, and leave Joel's Church just as lost. A great falling away in the last days. Hearts waxing cold. The consciousness of mankind is being severed. This is proof of the last days...And it will be severe...There was a person claiming that when we have an issue with a fellow Christian, we are to go to Him/Her in Private and if they will not hear you, then you go to them with other Christians and if it still is not resolved.....Joel is no brother of mine. He is no man of God. He is a person that is blind and he is leading others that are blind...Ask yourself, Are people falling on their knees and crying out Lord forgive me I am a sinner? Are people getting victory over their past transgressions? Are there any transformed lives that once were deep in sin? A public speaker does not make you saved. There is only one way to Heaven. There was A Door Hung On Calvary, and It Hinges On The Cross. Jesus died for you, because mankind was indeed sinful, their thoughts are always wicked. We needed a Savior, an Ultimate sacrifice. What exactly does Joel preach that we are being saved from? Financial difficulties? Bad At[spam censored]ude towards our mates? Does Joel weep over the lost person that rejects Christ and dies and goes to hell, simply because that hell fire brimstone preaching just steps on too many toes? A man that has his own name on a building, and has said in an Interview with Larry King that if this "preaching thing" does not work out, he will then try something else, Does this sound like a person devoting his life to the ministry? Does this sound like a man so thankful that the grace of God saved even him, even though we all are unworthy? Does this sound like a man, headed for hell, and one day he asked God to forgive him? Did Joel cry out and say, I know I am a sinner, I believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God? Did Joel humble himself before a perfect Savior, and trust on Him for redemption? Ask yourself, if you died driving home from Joel's Church, would you go to the Heaven in God's Word, or would you go to the heaven according to Joel's word? Just because a person knows scripture, does not make them a preacher, nor does it mean they are saved. Satan has used scripture to tempt people, even the Son of God. Satan used the "Word" to try to tempt "THE WORD" Jesus Christ. You probably wait in miles of traffic to go see Joel every week, but did you know where ever you are at, God loves you? Did you know that you can obtain mercy and grace by kneeling by your bed and asking the One who paid your sin debt in full, to come into your heart and cleanse you from all your unrighteousness? Did you know that God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son? That whosoever believeth on Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life? Do you sleep at night? Do you have Joy in your life? Do you have the victory? Or are you looking for a church that allows you to continue to live the way you want to live, and have no conviction? You pay Joel to listen to him and read his books, but did you know, That Jesus Already Paid Your Debt? Did you know Salvation is a Free Gift accepted by Faith? Nicodmeus asked Christ one night, "What must I do to inherit eternal life"? Jesus said, "You Must Be Born Again". No one person on this earth can offer you redemption.
