Dad's asleep and Mom Doesn't care,
What I might do while they are not there,
Or if I am safe or get enough sleep,
If I am dressed or get something to eat.
But Jesus gave me my Bus Captain to hold,
who loves me and led me to the fold,
he tells me about the bible and the way I need to go,
and makes sure I remember that Jesus loves me so.
Monday through Friday my sister and I endure,
Because Saturday He's coming by for sure,
I'll rush to the door to let him in,
I know everthing will be all right then.
Thing are not so good down here you know,
But I am sure that to Heaven I will go,
we'll stand there together, my Bus Captain and me,
and we'll be with Jesus for eternity.
